Overview

Each product can have the following types of prices:

Supplier Purchase Price

Supplier Billing Price

Retail Price

These prices are grouped into price lists, which are then assigned to various locations such as stores or warehouses.

Price Lists and Price Types

A price list is a collection of products and their prices, which is associated with one or more locations.

Types of Price Lists

Price lists can be of various types: Purchase, Sale, Invoice, and Retail.

A - Purchase

Purchase price lists contain the purchase prices of products from suppliers, used for procurement with purchase orders.

V - Sale

F - Invoice

R - Retail (for outlets)

Product Sale Price or Size Range

The public sale price of a product can be a single price or vary by size variant. In the latter case, the product's price is defined by size ranges.

Cash Register Sales

The entry of the first sale price DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY ENABLE sales for the stores assigned to the price list. It will be necessary to:

Manually assign the product assortment from the product details, or

The first goods receipt registration will automatically assign the assortment to the receiving store.

Product

The sale price is unique for the product.

For example, the product MADOX123 has a single sale price of €150.

Once the price is assigned to the product, when it is recognized for sale via barcode or search, the suite will match the correct price, e.g., MADOX123 €150 for each SKU.

Size Range

The price depends on the size variant in position 1.
For example, in children's clothing where sizes can have different prices, the same shirt might have different prices if intended for an infant, a child, or a teenager. The suite handles this variability by allowing the definition of size range variants in position 1, assigning a homogeneous price for the range.

Variants within the range will all have the same price.

For example, a product BODY BAMBINO can have sizes for both infants and children. In this case, it is possible to define two ranges: Infant and Child, grouping the sizes.

The Infant range may have a price of €9.99 for all sizes in the group, while the Child range might have a price of €10.99.

In conclusion, the BODY BAMBINO product in size 0-1 will have a sale price of €9.99, while the size 2-3 will have a price of €10.99.

Price Validity Start Date

Each price in the price list has a start date for its validity.
It is possible to have multiple prices for the same product, as long as they have different validity dates.

TIP

Prices can be entered with a past start date (relative to the service invocation date); in this case, their validity will extend until the next validity date of the subsequent price.

Mobile Shop Public Sale Price Updates

The entry of the first sale price DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY ENABLE sales for the stores assigned to the price list. It will be necessary to:

Manually assign the product assortment from the product details, or

The first goods receipt registration will automatically assign the assortment to the receiving store.
Public sale prices in the Mobile Shop are updated the day after entry.
